Standard health insurance and Medicare do not cover elective refractive procedures such as LASIK, EVO ICL, or PRK. Some vision insurance plans offer a partial discount toward the procedure cost. Our staff can help you check your specific plan benefits before your consultation.
Yes. Cataract surgery is a medically necessary procedure and is covered by Medicare and most insurance plans. However, insurance covers only the standard monofocal lens. If you choose a premium lens to reduce your dependence on glasses after surgery, the upgrade cost is paid out of pocket. Dr. Feinerman will walk you through all lens options and costs during your consultation.
Yes. CareCredit financing is available for EVO ICL. The all-inclusive price of $9,450 for both eyes can be financed over 12 months with no interest through CareCredit.
Yes. The out-of-pocket portion for premium lens upgrades can be financed through CareCredit. Our staff will clarify exactly what is covered by insurance and what can be financed before your procedure.
