Experience. Dr. Gregg Feinerman has personally performed over 30,000 vision-correcting procedures since founding the practice in 2001, and personally performs every surgery, not just oversees it.
Innovation. We were the first practice in Orange County and greater Los Angeles to offer WaveLight® Plus ray-tracing LASIK, and Dr. Feinerman was the first surgeon in Southern California to implant a premium intraocular lens following FDA approval in 2003. We offer EVO ICL™, multiple premium IOLs, and remain one of the few practices in the region offering the Light Adjustable Lens, the only IOL that can be fine-tuned after surgery.
Evidence. Dr. Feinerman is a Principal Investigator on more than ten FDA clinical trials and has published peer-reviewed research on LASIK and premium-IOL outcomes. The surgical decisions made here are informed by data, not marketing claims.
We treat LASIK, cataract surgery, EVO ICL, and other lens-based procedures with the seriousness those decisions deserve.
"LASIK is the best choice I ever made!!"
"It's a big relief for me to have a doctor that actually cares for my wellbeing and for how I feel. Dr. Feinerman really was amazing at making me feel at home; I consider him a friend now. Anytime someone asks me for LASIK in LA, I'll 100% say Feinerman. "
"The whole procedure took less than five minutes. It was completely painless. Once it was done, I could see everything super HD clear, and I was really excited because I haven't been able to see like that in so long. I'm truly grateful for Dr. Feinerman. "
"Dr. Feinerman was super friendly and open to any questions or concerns I had. It felt like a normal eye appointment; you don't feel anything... I even went out to dinner that night. LASIK gave me so much freedom. It's the best thing I've ever done."
"Going to see Dr. Feinerman, he just made me feel really comfortable straight away. And the surgery was over so quick. After going through the procedure, which was basically pain free, I slept for six hours, woke up, and had perfect eyesight!"
"Dr. Feinerman is probably one of the more baller doctors I've ever met. He blasted Drake during the surgery, which was really soothing for me as a millennial. The surgery itself only took five minutes, which was crazy. The healing process was really quick!"
Your eyes deserve care that combines innovation with personal attention. At Feinerman Vision in Orange County, we specialize in LASIK, EVO ICL, and cataract surgery, pairing advanced technology with boutique-style care. With us, vision correction isn’t just a procedure: it’s a commitment to helping you see life with greater clarity.
Every eye is unique, which is why Feinerman Vision offers a full range of corrective options. From laser vision correction to implantable lenses and cataract surgery, every treatment is performed with precision, the latest technology, and the direct oversight of Dr. Gregg Feinerman.
LASIK reshapes the cornea so light focuses correctly on the retina, improving nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. At Feinerman Vision, advanced diagnostics and blade-free technology make your treatment precise, safe, and comfortable.
Every LASIK plan begins with detailed scans using SightMap™ Technology, which employs ray tracing to track how light travels through the entire eye. Unlike older systems that only measure the cornea, SightMap™ combines three diagnostic devices into one, simulating and optimizing outcomes before surgery. This ensures precision, predictability, and safety.
The Ziemer Z8 femtosecond laser allows Dr. Feinerman to create a flap with unmatched precision, improving safety and speeding recovery.
Based on your unique eye data, Dr. Feinerman selects the most advanced LASIK platform (Wavefront Optimized or WaveLight® Plus LASIK) to maximize clarity and reduce night glare.
The LASIK procedure takes about 15 minutes for both eyes. Most patients notice sharper vision within hours and return to daily routines, including work, reading, and driving, within 1–2 days.
PRK is an excellent option for patients with thinner (but otherwise healthy) corneas. The procedure takes about 15 minutes for both eyes. While recovery is slower than LASIK, the long-term results are equally effective.
Because no corneal flap is required, PRK offers a safe, reliable solution for patients who may not qualify for LASIK. At Feinerman Vision, you’ll receive detailed guidance throughout the healing process for the best outcome.
For patients with high myopia, thin corneas, or those seeking a reversible option, EVO ICL is an excellent choice. A soft, biocompatible lens is placed behind the iris and in front of the natural lens, correcting vision without reshaping the cornea.
Patients often describe EVO ICL vision as exceptionally sharp, with brighter night vision and less glare compared to glasses or contacts.
Cataracts can cause glare, dull colors, and blurry vision, but modern cataract surgery offers a safe and effective solution. Using a tiny incision, the cloudy natural lens is replaced with a new intraocular lens in a procedure that typically takes about 15 to 20 minutes per eye. Many patients notice brighter, sharper vision within hours, with further improvement over the following days.
At Feinerman Vision, cataract surgery goes beyond simply replacing a cloudy lens. With advanced lens options and personalized care, our goal is to restore vibrancy, detail, and freedom, often reducing or even eliminating the need for glasses.
The only lens that can be adjusted after surgery, allowing patients to “test drive” their vision and fine-tune their prescription with in-office light treatments.
An extended depth-of-focus lens that provides sharp distance vision with functional near vision, without splitting light between focal points. Available in toric design for astigmatism correction.
A trifocal lens offering clear vision at near, intermediate, and distance ranges, providing the broadest reading vision available in the USA. Available in toric design for astigmatism correction.
The world’s first trifocal IOL, FDA-approved in October 2025 after more than 15 years of global clinical use and millions of successful implantations worldwide. Its proprietary CoPODize™ technology harmonizes light distribution across all three focal points while minimizing glare and halos. Available in toric design for astigmatism correction.
A trifocal lens that delivers continuous vision across all distances, ideal for those seeking maximum freedom from glasses. Available in toric design for astigmatism correction.
An enhanced monofocal lens designed to provide crisp distance vision with some increased intermediate vision for everyday activities like computer and dashboard viewing.
An enhanced monofocal lens designed to provide sharp distance vision with some improved intermediate vision, while maintaining excellent clarity and low-light quality.
A small-aperture lens that uses pinhole optics to expand depth of focus, giving continuous vision across distances with a slight trade-off in contrast.
Toric means the lens also corrects astigmatism.
These premium lenses expand what cataract surgery can achieve, helping patients see more naturally across distances while reducing dependence on glasses. Standard monofocal lenses are also available for patients who prefer a single focal point with excellent clarity.
Choosing an eye surgeon is an important decision, and details matter. At Feinerman Vision, every aspect of your experience is built around precision, personal attention, and exceptional outcomes.

As a trusted LASIK and cataract surgeon in Orange County, Dr. Gregg Feinerman will guide you every step of the way with safe, proven results.
Call us now at (949) 631-4780 to schedule your consultation and take the first step toward sharper vision.
The right procedure depends on your prescription, the thickness and health of your cornea, your age, and your visual goals. During your consultation I review your diagnostic imaging with you and walk through which options fit your eyes, whether that is LASIK, PRK, EVO ICL, or a lens-based procedure. You can also start with our vision correction candidacy quiz to get a sense of your options before we meet.
Many patients who are turned away from LASIK elsewhere still have excellent options here. A high prescription, thin corneas, or dry eye does not necessarily rule out vision correction. For these patients I often recommend EVO ICL, which corrects higher levels of nearsightedness than LASIK and does not remove corneal tissue, or PRK for thinner corneas. The goal of your evaluation is to find the procedure that fits your eyes, not to fit you into one procedure.
As the eye’s natural lens ages it gradually loses flexibility and clarity, a process that begins well before a cataract forms. Depending on where you are in that process, options range from refractive lens exchange to cataract surgery with a premium lens. Each replaces the aging lens with an intraocular lens chosen for your eyes and lifestyle, and I will explain where your lens is in that progression and which approach makes sense for you.
Standard cataract surgery uses a monofocal lens that provides clear vision at one distance, usually far, with glasses for closer tasks. Premium lenses can extend your range of vision. Options such as Clareon® Vivity® for distance and intermediate, or Clareon® PanOptix® for a full range including near, are selected based on how you use your eyes each day. There is no single best lens. The right choice balances your range of vision, night-driving quality, reading-glass dependence, and long-term flexibility.
I offer two laser platforms. Wavefront Optimized LASIK is a precise, proven treatment that preserves the natural shape of the cornea and is an excellent choice for most candidates. WaveLight® Plus LASIK uses INNOVEYES SightMap™ ray-tracing technology to map the full optical system of the eye and design a highly individualized treatment, for patients who want the highest level of customization. During your consultation I recommend the platform that best fits your eyes and goals.
I do, personally. Feinerman Vision is a boutique, single-surgeon practice, which means I perform your consultation, your procedure, and your follow-up visits myself. You are not handed off to a rotating team, and when you call our office a member of our team answers directly. I have personally performed more than 30,000 vision-correcting procedures since founding the practice in 2001.
